Senior Backend Engineer (ICG)

Amartha is embarking on an exciting new journey and is in need of experienced engineers to work with senior management, existing engineers, and product in shaping the next wave of innovative product offerings, ensuring Amartha leapfrogs into the next phase of its journey!Successful candidates will need strong communication skills as they will be actively involved in discussions and instrumental in bridging the gap between product and technology, as well as coaching, mentoring, and guiding junior engineers in best practices/solving technical challenges.

Job Description

As a API/Backend Software Engineer, you will implement and deploy API solutions while demonstrating expertise in a number of areas including cloud computing, API design and development, Public and Private API design and development, cloud messaging, highly scalable distributed systems.

• Fast learner & good analytical thinking.
• Advanced knowledge in (according to priorities) Go, Python, Java, or any other programming language, as long as you are capable of learning quickly (like, really fast).
• Have exposure to architectural patterns of high-scale web application.
• Have experience with distributed storage and database systems, including SQL or NoSQL.
• Have a systematic problem-solving approach and knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• Good communication skill, team player and comfortable working with a cross-functional team.
• Have a passion for learning, improving and contributing to projects with a strong sense of ownership.
