Senior Artist (Live Ops)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled 2D illustrator, who can create brilliant daily content for our casual games portfolio. You will have an important and pivotal role in shaping the LiveOps Art Team and establishing effective workflows both inside and out. The quality of your work will be seen by millions of players on a daily basis and have a huge impact on the success of our games.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating key 2D artwork and illustrations for social media, emails, game popups, store objects, and temporary content for our games such as progression map illustrations, reward medals, UI elements and other objects
• Creating artwork of different complexities & styles that would match our products
• Concepting and designing assets in collaboration with the Product team to ensure the art style is appropriate and consistent
• Maintaining a high level of quality, ensuring that your work stands up against other big-name mobile games
• Working on multiple projects at the same time
• Working with different international teams
• Communicating and collaborating with the other teams such as Product Teams, Game Artists, Tech Artists and QAs
• Mentoring and coaching less experienced artists
• Quality control of the assets and providing feedback for the LiveOps Art team

• 2+ years of experience working as an Artist on a Mobile/Web application or as a Marketing Artist. Experience working in the game industry is an asset
• A portfolio of previous experience, showcasing artwork and projects
• Ability to conceptualize new ideas for themes, rewards, and other collectables
• Professional experience with the Adobe tools
• Understanding of the mobile games market, its design styles and trends
• Confidence in working with a range of art styles and with different design requirements
• Excellent composition and colouristic skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and orally
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Good organizational skills and passion for details
• Experience in working with Unity - an asset
• Management experience - an asset
