- Sales Manager wedding will be based in Bali
- Report to Assistant Director of Sales in group booking and wedding in AYANA Komodo, as well Director of Wedding in terms of operational side
- Responsible for assisting in the planning of wedding and group events for clients, by liaising with the clients prior to the event (when confirmed) and by liaising with respective department (FB, FO, Finance, etc). Act as a liaison between the Event Planner and Hotel Operations.
- To prepare external and internal per conference for wedding and group arrangement. To prepare with BEOS, Resumes and coordinate with Group Sales / Wedding Sales.
- Present to client a pre-con, go over Group Resume, rooming list and BEOS with client for any last minute changes, including: Re-confirm daily agenda and pertinent arrangements.
- Built and maintain positive relations with all internal and external
- Oversee and constantly follow up with client on site to ensure satisfaction with all arrangements.
- Ensure wedding and group event operation work force anticipates and responds to all customer needs within a timely manner, acknowledge all customers.
- Report concerns or issues to solve the problem or defects internally or eternally
- Aware with the update information from competitor
- Ensures billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill
- Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary.
- Complete QIAFS (Quality Improvement Action Forms) or Event Difficulty Forms and distribute to all concerned for immediate rectification and improvement
- Conducts formal pre- and post-event meetings as required to review/communicate group needs and feedback.
- Up-sells products and services throughout the event process
- Review daily pick up, no-shows and attrition (if appropriate) with client if necessary.
- Review preliminary master account with Event Planner or group on-site contact upon request before departure
- To take turn in responding the confirmed group, regular training, internal functions' BEOS needed weekly, to update availability and block space at OPERA system and to follow up
- To be responsible for accurate and issue timely any quotations, agreements and pro-forma invoice. Ensure the accuracy of charges in OPERA when the group is actual.
- Post Con Evaluation has been completed by Meeting Planner.
- Ensure all sales tracking and reports have been updated before closing file.
- Ensure concluded event has all relevant records and notes on file for future reference
- Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike.
- At all times, keeping updated on product knowledge of resorts and related activities
- Complying with Property Safety & Environment policies, initiatives and legislation.
- Participate and contributing to the resort sustainability program through education, interaction and suggestion
- Has experience in a similar position in 5 Start Hotel
- Has good Communication and Interpersonal skill
- Has Excellent Leadership skills
- Has the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Has related license, certificates and (or) diploma to support candidate's qualification
