About the Role

Sales Excellence functions play a vital role in overseeing and improving the sales support process and implementing sales excellence to provide a wholesome, excellent experience for the merchants and partners in the Online Payments - Sales Department in Midtrans. Your role as the Sales Excellence Senior Manager will be to support the Sales Excellence team, with a primary focus on business process improvement to ensure the best fit with the company, standardizing processes to improve operations capabilities, and reviewing/evaluating and maintaining existing documentation (policies, procedures, process maps) that are consistent, updated and inline with the overall business direction. The function is intended to identify and evaluate gaps and execute improvements towards establishing more efficient day-to-day sales support processes and business processes under the Online Payments - Sales Department. If hired, you will do the document processes (SOPs making) and recommend improvements and evaluate the efficiency of changes made to our business processes. You will also help with socialization and training to ensure policy awareness and implementation across functions in the sales team and related departments or stakeholders. You will directly report to the Head of Sales Excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing organization.


What You Will Do

  • Perform business process mapping and analysis, including conducting sessions with related stakeholders and facilitating brainstorming to identify gaps and provide recommendations
  • Maintain the company process list (SOP list), including evaluating and reviewing existing documentations (policy, procedure, workflow, working instructions) are consistent, inline with process and timely updated
  • Work with Sales Excellence team to understand existing business processes, identify gaps, chart out improvement action plans to revamp the procedure and establish the monitor method
  • Identify and design the best process to be mapped with the system and according to overall business directions, and prepare all required workflow and establish new documentations (Standard Operating Procedure) to cater new business needs or policy
  • Project support for other function / department for improvement needs with specific assigned process, scope and time plan
  • Act as the point of contact, information and escalation in regard to policy, flow and procedure to support the Head of Sales Excellence in resolving related issues and complaints
  • Develop and perform training for new joiners related to product knowledge and day-to-day procedure, as well as refreshment training and socialization of new procedure, flow and policy to the sales team and related stakeholders
  • Present reports on progress, goals, and periodic initiatives to regularly share with peers, Head of Sales Excellence and other senior leaders.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Communication or related academic area
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in business process management, project management, sales, and operations or training/learning and development is mandatory; Prior experience in the related industry of e-commerce or tech companies will be a plus point
  • Prior experience in managing people/teams is mandatory
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Bahasa and English is required
  • You are a self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, problem-solving skills, analytical skills and detail-oriented
  • Advanced reporting and computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel and Power point skills
  • Proven ability to multitask, maintain projects, record-keeping, time management, negotiate/persuade and maintain effective relations with internal stakeholders

The Sales Excellence team consists of experienced support managers and executives who handle Midtrans's day-to-day support functions with regard to Sales and Partnerships. The team is also the gatekeeper of information and provides support in reporting and data for other departments. The Sales Excellence team is filled with vibrant, solid team players who often have to work to tight internal deadlines, support each other, and celebrate with peer-to-peer recognition initiatives.
