Sales Development Representative Job Description

Kargo Nexus is looking for a high energy and dynamic Sales Development Representative to provide pre-sales support. This role will be responsible for servicing inbound and outbound sales and related inquiries with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers.

The Sales Development Representative is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle following.


Responsibilities

● Driving Enterprise lead generation and revenue contribution for KargoNexus in target sectors (FMCG, CPG, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotives, etc.) across the Indonesian archipelago.

● Generate inbound and outbound leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects for both KargoNexus for Shippers (NFS) and KargoNexus for Transporters (NFT).

● Engage current users of KargoTech to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence for KargoNexus.

● Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-offs to sales teams.

● Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts.

● Cold call into prospects generated by a variety of outside sources.

● Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycle.

● Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle.

● Effectively partner and work across KargoNexus Enterprise Solution teams - including Product Marketing and Business Development and Collaborate on strategic sales approach.

● Work closely with KargoNexus Business Development and Product Marketing teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools.

● Set appointments and demos for KargoNexus NFT and NFS Business Development team when a lead reaches a qualified stage.

● Generating new business meetings leading to opportunities and closures from both inbound and outbound engagements.

● Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with KargoNexus NFT or NFS Business Development team.

● Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences.

● Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application (Hubspot).

This position requires an ambitious self-starter and someone that can effectively process inbound inquiries and identify qualified leads and opportunities. Relationship selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels of customer accounts, are essential.

● 3+ year of successful experience in telemarketing, preferably in telesales and lead generation roles.

● Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence

● Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value.

● Demonstrated success in prospecting corporates and individual clients.

● Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic.

● High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company

● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

● Experience with CRM applications preferred (Hubspot).

● Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
