Job Description
- Build credit risk modelling, analytics and reporting for retail customers and commercial customers.
- Partner with the product team to determine how technology help to detect and reduce risk.
- Analyze key metrics to determine risk.
- Maintain the credit model platform which is utilized by the team and expected to provide advice and guidance on ongoing efficiency gains and new credit modelling methodology.
- Supervise the development of the risk management database and analysis.
- Lead the process of credit assessment enhancement through automation and machine learning development.
- Conduct industry analysis and construct industry rating report to be given to the financing analyst team to support their financing assessment activities.
Job Requirements
- Experience as Data Scientist or Risk Modelling at least 5 years (preferably experience in fintech or startup).
- Knowledge of programming languages and tools such as but not limited to SQL, Python, R.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Experience in building credit risk and scoring model in banks or financial institutions.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
- Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way
