KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role for a digital Senior Associate, as Product Owner, Indonesia for one of our flagship digital tools, the Ops Platform, will be expected to:
- Lead the ideation creation and prioritization of our product roadmap, analyze user needs to design the best possible solutions, lead UX/UI design efforts; work with Global PO to prioritise features across regions
- Manage development team in day-to-day activities, e.g. prioritisation, sprint planning, user story documentation and testing, etc.
- Capturing, consolidating and synthesizing user feedback through user interviews, observations and analysis, and prioritizing these changes accordingly
- Support implementation coordinators in rolling out product to new sorting centres, villages and users
- Engaging leadership from both village and waste management facilities to secure support and gather input on operational platform benefits, roll-out, and efforts required
- Coordinating and ensuring synergy of the digital roll-out with other workstreams across Rethinking Recycling to ensure timely delivery of key milestones
- Support Demand team to roll out our Material Traceability pilot in Indonesia, an exciting new initiative to track waste throughout the ecosystem, improving visibility and traceability of recycled goods
- Help build strategic plan for scaling digital products including the Ops Platform, e.g. timelines, resource and support models etc., in-line with Delterra’s ambitious scaling strategy
- Opportunity to grow into Global Product Owner for Ops Platform over time
REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for candidates with waste management, environmental, operational and/or digital experience to oversee the implementation of the operational workstream. This is a full-time rolereporting directly to the Global Product Owner.
Background should include:
- Indonesian Nationals with minimum 4+ years of relevant work experiences;
- Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant educational background
- Professional fluency in Bahasa and English (both written and oral). Fluency in Balinese and/or Javanese is a plus
- Preferred experience in complex digital build or projects implementation with various stakeholders, ideally in product roles
- Experience in relevant issues (e.g., system roll-outs, technology upgrades, sustainability, community transformation, waste management & recycling,...)
- Excellent communication skills, including history of establishing credibility with a wide range of stakeholders, and empathy for gathering user feedback
- Demonstrated conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills (e.g., proposing digital solutions for complex problems)
