About the Role
If you’re a seasoned researcher who wants to make meaningful impacts for merchants (starting from micro, small-medium, and also enterprises) then we’re looking for you! As our Researcher, you’ll be part of the Commerce Enablement stream at GoTo Financial (Consist of: MOKA and GoKasir (POS Product), Selly and GoStore) that directly impacts the team’s marketing and business strategy. You’ll play an instrumental role to influence the company in defining the acquisition and retention strategies that can win our merchants’ hearts.
You’ll be responsible for defining, leading, interpreting, and socializing insights that lead to innovations. For this role, the product team will be your main working companions. What You Will Do
- Design effective research studies with appropriate methodologies to meet the objectives within an agreed-upon timeline
- Manage and execute research projects from end-to-end (e.g. Survey, Data Analysis, U&A study, Paint Point Sizing & Needs Prioritization, User profiling and segmentation, Competitive Analysis and other research with the hybrid method)
- Develop and handle a system for regularly reporting trended data to key stakeholders
- Integrate data sources and analytic processes to produce meaningful insights in a high-quality report.
- Be the owner of scoping work, negotiating terms, and otherwise handling vendors.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations, followed by evangelizing the findings through presentations, discussions, or even workshops
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to fine-tune methodology and resultsDiscover and discuss research ideas, new methodologies, best practices with your manager to bring the Research & Insights team to greater heights
What You Will Need
- At least 3 years of experience in market research with proficiency in quantitative methodologies and processes (having exposure in qualitative methodologies would be a huge plus)
- Has been hands-on with a proven track record of designing, executing, and participating survey research
- Ability to see beyond the obvious to derive deep actionable insights from robust analysis
- Good problem-solving skills and being resourceful in overcoming challenges
- Experience in project management, able to exercise judgment to prioritize and execute on research needs
- Comfortable designing and executing research by oneself from start to finish
- Strong preference given to candidates with SQL Query & Data Visualization with Tableau skills
- Exposure in point-of-sales products, and industries related to B2B products are a big plus
About the Team
Commerce Enablement Research Team, as a part of the greater Gojek Research & Insights organization, consists of product and market researchers that’s based in the SEA region. Products under the Commerce Enablement team include: POS system (MOKA and GoKasir), GoStore and Selly Keyboard. The gist of our role is to embrace cross-learning and innovative practice by ways of merging qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and business research methods.
The team consists of 3 team members who genuinely love diving head-first into a good research and analysis challenge, and end up having a lot of fun together in the process. When not doing research, we do a lot of draw battle games with our designer colleagues, having mini book/film club chats, doing plank challenges, and other variety of fun things.
