About the Role

Fasten your helmet and climb aboard if you’re ready to be our Research Manager. In this role, you will be an integral player of the Loyalty, Partnership & Monetization team based in both India and Indonesia. You will employ both quantitative and qualitative research skills to ensure user insights are at the heart of our loyalty offerings. The folks in the product, design, data and business team will be your companions on this ride. Your efforts will directly influence how we build our loyalty and subscription programs to our users.

What You Will Do

  • Be the thought partner of the product, design, business, and data team in coming up with strategies to achieve the group’s objectives
  • Collaborate closely with data to understand more about users and the impacts of our products/programs
  • Plan and manage research roadmap for the loyalty, partnership, and monetization team
  • Mentor and guide other researchers in quantitative methodology 
  • Plan and execute end-to-end research studies using the appropriate methodologies to achieve the agreed objectives, as an individual contributor, project leaders, or team members
  • Synthesize research findings into robust and inspiring recommendations
  • Actively participates in research processes improvements

What You Will Need

  • At least 6 years of proven experience in conducting quantitative research and delivering recommendations to stakeholders, and a good understanding of qualitative research
  • Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Prior experience in the loyalty industry
  • Ability to see patterns and behavior through numbers. You will be working closely with our data team, so you need to feel comfortable with number crunching
  • The ability to operate in a self-directed culture and the fluency in navigating uncertainty
  • Openness to learning from and share your skill set with others in the organization
  • Ability to work efficiently - balancing the flash-fast requirements and the rigor it takes to produce good insights
About the Team

Gojek Research & Insights team has 90+ researchers spread across multiple products and platforms. Our very own team consists of 5 researchers and growing. We are committed to ensuring that user insights are always at the heart of our product development and marketing communication, through collaborating with the data team or conducting our own research (primary or secondary research). Should you have a question about what gets users to continue using our app, we are your people! Currently, our team has been busy working on multiple projects, including how users perceive our loyalty program: GoClub. 

Outside of work, you’d find us doing various different things. We are made up of gardeners, sweets hunters, football ultras, manga geeks, and binge-watchers. With WFH becoming more normalized, you best believe we’ve been sharing our favorite ways to prioritize a healthy work-life balance at home.
