About the Role

A great opportunity awaits our GoFood Research Manager who will act as a leader within our R&I function, overseeing the Food Delivery research across quantitative, qualitative and analytical research for Partner stream. Together with research colleagues in marketing, and customer stream you’ll work to deliver actionable insight and recommendation, influencing the product and strategy team in order to create customer-focused product experience. Your efforts will directly bolster the product development prioritization for Gojek, ensuring all initiatives answer the customer needs, give delightful experience while beneficial for business objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Manage market research projects end-to-end (eg. Data Analysis, U&A study, Opportunity Sizing Study, Pricing Study, Conjoint Study, Competitive Analysis), and provide inputs to product and  business team in terms of strategy development and execution
  • Lead the scoping of research and be accountable for research results and roadmaps for your Business counterparts
  • Became the main thought partner for their stakeholders by having the knowledge of company, industry, & strategic opportunity and constraints
  • Manage, provide guidance and feedback, and mentor junior researchers members and making sure they grow and develop in the team
  • Proactively involved in continuous research methodology and process improvement within whole Gojek research organization

What You Will Need

  • Have at least 5 years of experience being a researcher who is exceptionally proficient in research methodologies and processes
  • Come from either a market research, analytics, or product research background with exposure on each area
  • Be hybrid: knowledgeable about survey/quant research, qualitative research, and data analysis to derive insights as well as beyond average analytical thinking and solid problem-solving skill
  • Have a proven track record of designing, executing, and participating research either hands-on or with external partners
  • Prove yourself as an effective mentor to your juniors, credible sparring partners, and stakeholder
  • Prove yourself to be able to manage project management effectively and successfully through diligent prioritization
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of business strategy, brand marketing,  data, product, operations, and partners effectively with those teams
  • Strong communication skill especially in English, both verbal and written
About the Team

Our Food Research team, a sub-pod of the Research & Insight organization, has 7 people based in Indonesia. Working alongside the Strategy, Product, Design and Marketing, we oversee the customer-focused & competitive product development, including generating market and customer insight from primary research& secondary sources and translating insight into actionable business recommendation. For instance, should you have a question about market foresight and customer trend, we are your people! Currently, our team has been busy working on expanding the penetration of Online Food Delivery, which will help Gojek in making life easier for a larger customer base in Indonesia, and Vietnam.
