Backed by Temasek, YouTube’s Co-Founding CTO, blue chip VCs, and key industry insiders, Migo delivers data up to 100 times cheaper than existing networks, and that cost advantage is growing.
Migo launched in Indonesia in 2020. Migo’s initial product is sachet passes providing customers access to entertainment and education at convenient neighborhood clouds (aka Migo Download Stations/MDS). Migo today has more than 1,000 locations covering over 20 million Indonesians.
In September 2021, MNC Vision Networks (MVN), a subsidiary of leading media conglomerate MNC Group, invested $40 million for a minority stake in Migo Indonesia, accelerating Migo Indonesia’s rollout to reach 100 million Indonesians across Java by end of 2022.
Prior to the investment, Migo Indonesia became the core distributor of Vision+ (MVN’s OTT) content, by launching Vision+ on Migo to deliver a tailored experience to offline consumers.
In addition to its cornerstone partnership with Vision+, Migo Indonesia also carries entertainment content from a range of top local and international producers, and education content from the best Indonesian EdTech players, as well from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
Migo is looking for an Asset Clinic Engineer with strong experience in the electrical/electronic manufacturing field. Working closely with Migo’s Operations and Product team, this person will contribute to handling the repair process of Migo’s main product - the Migo Download Station, managing the whole performance of the asset clinic area, and establish a continuous improvement as well as conducting a troubleshooting and problem-solving analysis with aim to output the high-quality product. This role challenges you to maximize your skills and experiences as we bring affordable and quality entertainment to the Indonesian mass markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executing diagnose of defective component/product from all sources IQC, Production Line, and from Field and doing troubleshooting refer to troubleshooting guide within technical assessment.
- Conducting troubleshooting activity for every defective peripheral and hardware component from all sources IQC, Production Line, and from Field.
- Maintaining the standard process documents, including troubleshooting guide, hotfix protocol.
- Handling issue/maintenance/repair ticketing in system related to asset clinic for pending diagnosis complexities.
- Directly communicating with overseas product engineering team and participating intensive remote troubleshooting.
- Maintaining the record sheet of every asset clinic tickets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years’ experience in electrical engineering, product engineering, PCB engineering or a similar role.
- Proven track record on working in scale factory and familiar with production repair task and ticketing system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detailed and organized.
- Exhibits excellent logical thinking and capability of product repairing skills.
- Strong knowledge in electrical and electronic component system.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds in both verbal and written forms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other related fields of study.
- Advanced proficiency in written/oral English and Bahasa Indonesia.
