Remote SQA Engineer

This job required Software Engineer Background (Javascript Knowledge is Big Plus)

Our business is growing steadily, so we are expanding our QA team to improve the quality of our product. We are looking for talented QAs who have strong experience in backend software engineering and frontend development. We need to improve the quality of generated applications from the Jitera product and the quality of the generated code.

• Read the code generated by Jitera products to ensure that it has good code quality and it follows best practices for programming languages and frameworks.
• Use Jitera products and create applications to test for bugs and possible quality improvements.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test scenarios and test cases
• Reproduce issues from production and track until closure
• Create and maintain test artifacts
• Perform thorough regression testing when issues are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing projects to meet client needs
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Maintain a healthy environment, communicate with Engineers and the Manager
• Learn new products quickly

• Over 3 years of experience in backend engineering or frontend engineering.
• Over 1 year of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools (Postman), and processes (Scrum process)
• Experience in Mobile App Testing, Web Development, or Enterprise Software testing.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Working independently with high priority and high recommended spirit Own it
• High responsibility and think about the quality of the product.

Preferred qualification

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience in automation tools in JavaScript/TypeScript (Ex: WebdriverIO, Playwright, Protractor, etc.).
• Strong skills in working with selectors (CSS Selector, XPath) and working with DevTool Chrome in debugging.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• Experience working at a remote company

Work condition

• Full remote. You can work from all over the world. Of course, you can also work from your home. Our office is on "Gather", on the internet, so we can see and talk there.
• Full flextime system. You can work anytime in your timezone, but you need to attend regular team and company meetings.
• Can have the option to work part-time during the probation as a second job if you recently have a full-time job
