Department: L Beauty
L Beauty is a joint-venture between LVMH Fragrances and Cosmetics and Luxasia for the distribution and business development of some of its Beauty brands in South East Asia. The portfolio of L Beauty comprises of Benefit Cosmetics, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Fresh and Parfums Christian Dior.
Role Summary:
Ensure cosmetic products are meeting all the applicable regulations. Collect and submit to local authority’s documents required for license and renewals following strict deadlines. Follow-up and set timelines for approvals. Protect Brands from any regulatory risk of non-compliance. Monitor existing and new regulations to anticipate any business impact. Attend seminars and meeting with local authorities/associations (as and when needed).
Responsibilities:
- Compile and well-manage regulatory documentation and databases
- Ensure the list of prohibited and permitted claims Indonesia complied with local regulation
- Follow-up the technical review of data or reports that will be incorporated into regulatory submissions to assure scientific rigor, accuracy, and clarity of presentation with Brand Regulatory Affairs
- Prepare and share the monthly KPI report for Regulatory Indonesia team via Sharepoint
- Updates and participate in local regulatory inspection in coordination with Brand Regulatory Affairs and SEA RA Manager
- Interpret, explain regulatory rules or rule changes and ensure that they are communicated through corporate policies and procedures
- Share any identified regulatory risk of non-compliance without delay
- Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents for Indonesia market
- Meet as needed Regulatory authorities to defend pending file
- Coordinate, prepare, and submit regulatory files to local authority Indonesia
- Manage the Indonesia regulatory team
Requirements:
- Graduate with degree (Bachelors/Masters) in Pharmacy (Registered pharmacist with Ministry of Health is preferred)
- Preferable with 8-10 years of working experience in regulatory areas
- Good connection with local authority and local association.
- Have knowledge in BPOM and Halal, possess the Halal certificates (optional)
- Have knowledge in custom clearance (optional)
- A good team player
- Fluent in English both oral and written
