The Role

  • To lead a high-performing regional team that provides the best customer onboarding experience with accuracy and speed while contributing to our organization's growth
  • To also help ensure that growth from onboarding is well kept within regulatory and risk parameters
  • To scale and organize the team well while we grow the team regionally in SEA 

Outcomes

  • Scale our regional Merchant Operations team as merchant application volumes go on hypergrowth
    • Identify the needs of the team from a people, process, and product perspective
    • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes in collaboration with the team and other stakeholders
    • Establish ways to monitor efficiency of processes and evaluate performance of the team to enable continuous improvement
  • Groom and grow a team of 10-20 to ensure their professional growth and high performance 
    • Manage team members to ensure they can deliver outcomes independently
    • Coach members to level up and untap their maximum potential so they can help you manage the team
    • Be on the frontline of hiring go-getters and identify the best talent for our team as we grow regionally
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and teams as we grow 20% MoM
    • Understand the intricacies of multiple teams related to Merchant Operations
    • Communicate constantly with stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals
    • Influence stakeholders effectively in order to execute to achieve Merchant Operations, shared and company goals
    • Help talk to customers and partners regionally when needed a Merchant Operations representative

Experience

  • Have extensive experience in managing, training, hiring people
  • Have experience in leading a project with multiple stakeholders in and outside a company/organization
  • Have been involved in a project to streamline and/or automate processes
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position
  • At least 2 years in either consulting or equivalent role with experience in: 
    • Online, E-commerce, Payments and Financial Technology Industries (Preferred)
    • Experience in Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, Business Process Automation, Project Management
    • Experience in running data analytics
    • Strong driving and managerial skills
    • Continuous improvement & automation mindset
    • Solve for customer first attitude

Relevant Skills

  • Proficient in both English and Indonesian
