XB Commercial, B2C Sales is the front office vertical which generates revenue through acquisition and retention of Worldwide (non-China) e-commerce logistics clients.
Acquisition
- Acquiring and retaining Regional B2C cross border clients who engage with the organization across multiple countries
- Work closely with Regional BD team to quote for XB opportunities & represent Ninja as a cross border service provider to all clients segment if applicable
Retention
- Retaining Key accounts by active engagement/relationship management & operations escalation
- Drive growth for Key accounts by cross-selling other XB services, upselling upstream supply chain XB services
As part of XB BD team, this individual will be responsible for shipper experience on post-sales segment assisting with onboarding and ensuring operational success of our shippers. This individual will assist shippers with providing and guiding them through XB’s SOPs and standard API integration process to ensure smooth onboarding. This individual will also serve as a point of escalation for all operational related matters, ensuring XB shippers’ operational enquiries are resolved.
The employee is expected to have a client-facing demeanor, can-do attitude and takes initiative and demonstrates flexibility to address all types of shipper issues. We prize team-first mentality, accountability to shippers and tenacity to solve difficult issues to retain shippers amidst a very competitive landscape
Responsibilities
- Account-manage XB B2C shippers on daily operations (smooth handover of parcels, SLA monitoring, compensations, remittance, billings)
- Communicate independently with XB Country Ops, XB OPEX & Country XB Key Account Managers, on shipper operational escalations(shipper info changes, SLA lapses)
- Drive & Own resolution of all portfolio’s shipper operational escalations
- Onboarding new XB (non-China) shippers, (includes training of shippers’ ops team, update to respective countries, full info collection)
- Monitor the first shipment closely to ensure SOPs are internalized by Shipper and make corrections where necessary
- Guide & Provide SOPs to client for Standard API integration which includes following up with tech (if necessary) and explaining step-by-step on API sandbox testing process
- Maintain and update CRM and Internal shipper related database to ensure data hygiene and visibility for internal stakeholders
- Liaise with and support account managers to ensure SOP adherence of shipper post onboarding
- Assist account managers to synthesize MBR data for client-facing presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
- Previous 1 - 2 years experience in logistics or 3PL management or similar capacity advantageous
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, in listening, speaking & writing to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders & customers
- Strong communication ability to work with shippers
- Strong sense of accountability over shipper accounts allocation
- Strong ownership of portfolio of clients
- Possess a positive and can-do attitude when dealing with complicated shipper issues
- Ability to work in a dynamic environments which can be difficult to navigate
