Descriptions
- Work on building a quality driven engineering culture that drives improvements in quality and helps ship products rapidly with good confidence
- Drive the quality for a product/feature, assess risks to and ensure shipping features with a high quality bar
- Work closely with development teams in instrumenting their workflow to build a comprehensive picture of velocity, coverage, quality, and production health
- Maintaining and executing the manual tests that will increase the quality of software products
- Identify, record and track bugs/defects in JIRA
- Doing exploratory testing to catch possible negative or edge cases
- Developing and maintaining user guide/manual documents
- Help define, implement and drive adoption of QA best practices and processes
- Proactively help improve processes
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience mobile applications and web-service application
- Able to perform testing activity based on written test cases
- Able to identify the severity of the defects and communicate it with stakeholders
- Customer-focused and pay great attention to details.
- Solid communication skills in English (especially reading and writing)
- You are a team player, communicates well and can work with QA teams and engineering teams.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Experience working with medium to large teams
- Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Willing to be placed in one of Ruangguru's office (Yogyakarta)
Nice to Have
- Good understanding of debugging to understand stack traces
