QA Engineer Freelance

We are looking for a QA Engineer Freelance with a strong technical background to implement the test strategy by working closely with the product team. The tech lead and Product Manager will be your companions during the ride.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to verify software functionality and stability.
• Identify, document, and report software defects, anomalies, and issues using appropriate bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to provide detailed defect reports, including steps to reproduce and relevant documentation.
• Collaborate with the automation team to create and maintain automated test scripts, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.
• Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements and expectations.

• Have at least 2-3 or more years of experience working on testing software applications.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of Software Quality methodologies, testing tools and Software Quality processes is required
• Experience in working in Agile process management methodology.
• Should have a deeper understanding of the product at the implementation level, and should be able to analyze logs and API responses at the Microservice integration level.
• Highly Experienced with tools such as Jira, Postman, Allure.
• Knowledge of Performance & Security Testing is a bonus point.
• Excellent communication skills - very good at inter and intra-team communication.
• Team player who endorses a collaborative work style.
• Have knowledge and experience in automation testing with Cypress & Webdriverio is a plus.
