QA Engineer

- Work closely with Product teams, UI/UX Designer, or Product Analyst and establish testing requirements in response to new features and releases.
- Develop thorough test documentation and test cases to be used by all members of the HappyFresh Engineering team during the development phase.
- Conduct ongoing testing of all current and future releases. Ranging from E2E testing, regression, and A/B testing, and .
- Problem solving using various tools to find out the root cause of issues and communicate bugs effectively to Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers
- Defect triaging while looking ahead with the release schedule in mind and assessing what is acceptable for launch.
- Support the process of handling production issues, if needed
- Research and explore current testing guidelines and processes in the industry
Who you are:
- At least 2-3 years working experience in the Quality Assurance domain.
- Enjoy breaking things and solving problems - not just able to find out the 'what', but also the 'why' and the ‘how’
- Have solid knowledge of blackbox testing methodologies and Software Testing Life Cycle
- Have experience related to HTTP debugging on mobile based applications (iOS & Android) using developer tools/console
- Familiar with Rest API testing using Postman, Swagger, etc
- Have basic knowledge of SQL queries and the tools
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience in using test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, XRAY, Test Rail, etc
- Ability to maintain good communication in English and working relationships with peers and project team members.
- Able to work autonomously and self-educate with encouraging leadership, but limited supervision.
- Basic experience in automation testing is a plus.
