We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Officer to join our team at AYANA MidPlaza, JAKARTA. As a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, evaluating supplier offers, negotiating contracts, and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of purchased products and invoices. The ideal candidate for this role is proactive, analytical, and has a good understanding of supply chain procedures.
Responsibilities
- Research potential vendors and evaluate their offerings
- Compare and negotiate offers from suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery of orders
- Review the quality of purchased products
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, delivery information, and invoices
- Track stock levels and place orders as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage of purchased products
- Stay updated with industry trends by attending trade shows and exhibitions
Requirements
- Minimum D3/S1
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role in Hospitality Industry
- Familiarity with vendor sourcing practices and procedures
- Strong analytical skills for conducting cost analyses and creating financial reports
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in using purchasing software and tools
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role
