Cookpad is a tech company building a community platform that enables people to share recipe ideas and cooking tips. It’s a global platform used by on average around 100 million people every month across the world. Over 4 million recipes have been created by people in almost 70 countries. How we got started.
Farm45 is a tech-driven initiative within Cookpad, responsible for making food production more sustainable for people and for the planet. Using biodiverse planting and a scientific approach we’re transforming how small-to-medium farm holdings grow food. We want to unite small-to-medium farm holders who use farming methods and approaches that support biodiversity and share their knowledge of biodiverse farming more widely.
The person we need has intellectual curiosity, a scientific background, 2-year+ hands-on experience of agroecological or regenerative farming methods and a passion for helping make things happen - practically as well as strategically.
Working with global, cross-border, team members, we will build an online platform for knowledge exchange between agroecological/regenerative farmers. Your role will be to apply your knowledge on agroecological farming in the Indonesia context and to collaborate with local farmers and farmer associations to make the project a success. Further, you will be required to reach out to other countries and explore possible collaborations abroad.
This is a hands-on, full-time contract role based in Indonesia, but remote work could be considered. Intensive travel will be required.
The challenges we are working to solve are large. You will be expected to use an insight driven approach to prioritise what is important and help us focus on the right things. We want to move fast and you will need to ensure we are frequently testing and gathering feedback.
