Programmatic Coordinator/Senior Coordinator

POSITION DETAILS

We are looking for a passionate, high-performing Coordinator/Senior Coordinator to join a collaborative program team of Delterra colleagues, external staff, and local partners in Indonesia. We are seeking candidates with experience in program management. The Coordinator/Senior Coordinator will report directly to the Indonesia Senior Associate of RR Badung Program and work alongside a highly passionate RR Badung Program team members.

Responsibilities include: 

Program implementation & coordination assistance (60%)

• Assist the implementation of various on-ground transversal activities and their logistical preparation, coordinate closely with wider program team/workstreams from the planning, implementation, and evaluation of key activities in village, regency, TPS3R, and TPST level in Badung regency.
• Lead the logistical preparation of various coordination cadence related to program implementation including check-ins, workshops, and problem-solving sessions with internal Delterra team and prepare high quality, actionable syntheses and documentation of program implementation learnings and work for regular meeting with senior stakeholders (e.g. Senior Leadership and/or Global team), including memos and presentations.
• Assist the program team in the management of timeline & milestones of RR Badung Program, ensure all on-ground implementation activities follow the planned duration and outputs and flag to the team if changes needed.
• Conduct necessary desk-research (i.e. local stakeholder mapping, waste-related data) that is essential to project implementation, if required.

Local stakeholder engagement (40%)

• Lead the management of delivery partnership of Delterra’s RR program in Badung regency. Identify key organizations and potential areas of partnership, managing meetings & follow-ups and work closely with the program team to establish effective collaboration that supports the implementation of RR program in Badung regency.
• Assist in developing relationships with a range of local stakeholders, including community leaders, government officials and local organizations for various on-ground implementation of various activities under RR program in Badung. Build understanding of and communicate with difference audiences, expressing clear messages based on the research and articulating actionable conclusions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in project and/or program management, including experience working with community leader and other local stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Environment, Development & Governance and/or related fields is preferred.
• Strong understanding of various project and/or program management approaches & tools and showcase ability to utilize that understanding in handling complex implementation with diverse stakeholders, familiarity working in an agile working environment is preferred.
• Strong experience in story lining and producing a presentation deck and ability to simplify complex concept into a comprehensible presentation is preferred.
• Track record of establishing credibility and communicating effectively with a broad range of people, from community representatives to senior leaders.
• Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English required (both written and spoken). Fluency in Balinese will be a plus.
• Passion for making change happen in the environmental and/or waste space.
