Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Program Manager (PgM) will play a critical role in driving operational rigor, in order to help the team launch cross-functional programs and complex projects from the inception stages to stable execution. In addition to strong project management skills, a PgM needs to have strong business process management abilities and general technical knowledge.
- Ensure successful execution of programs at ground level through building the required organization, aligning stakeholders across teams, and driving the resourcing, budgeting & process management.
- Provide visibility into status, health & resourcing to partners and senior leaders across multiple programs being run
- Develop strong relationships across stakeholders to understand their goals and priorities. Work with these stakeholders to help them convert these goals into reality.
Job Description
- Advise and drive multiple projects, working cross-functionally across the organization to guarantee smooth and efficient product delivery
- Identify and predict risks to projects and develop mitigation and contingency plans to address them
- Able to understand business strategy and align program outcomes with it
- Manage healthy project teams that are empowered, productive, efficient, and fun
- Facilitate the project checkpoints to ensure timely delivery and increase visibility
- Define, prioritize and plan the Programs that will need to be implemented, through alignment with all appropriate levels of Product Management.
- Collaborate with Product Development Crew leads to define and implement cross-team processes to improve efficiency and delivery (SDLC)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience;
- Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills focused on improving collaboration, understanding & information exchange across all stakeholders to creative and technical teams alike
- Min of 3-4 years of experience in program and/or project management (with Agile methods is preferred)
- Min of 2 year working with Product, Design and Technical units to design, develop, and implement new product or solution
- Having experience in financial technology or banking business is a plus
