About the Role
They say no man is an island, and this notion holds particularly true for this role. As our product researcher, you’ll be an instrumental cog in the Transport Research at Gojek that directly impacts the company’s direction and decision on what to build in the transport product, the design of the product, and what to do to increase our user experience. Your main objectives will be to plan and execute research projects and present them to stakeholders. Your manager will work with you to develop your skills and knowledge and to ensure the quality of the research. Product managers will be your main companions during this ride. Best yet, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your quantitative, qualitative research skills, getting us even closer as a thinking partner and navigator for our stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Do research related to product development including UT, market sizing, concept test, product evaluation, etc.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and understand their research questions by attending/initiating meetings that are related with your stakeholders
- Build research plan (including ensuring objectives, determining sample design, frameworks, timeline and what method to use) with medium-low supervision from manager
- Execute research plan
- Build the report and present it to stakeholders with medium - low supervision
- Present and discuss research plans and results with stakeholders
- Having fun with Gojek transport research team and bigger research team
What You Will Need
- Should at least 2 year experience as product research in agency or client side
- Have experience in product development research projects
- Have experience in both qualitative research and also quantitative research
- Have experience in tech company will be preferable
- Fluent in english
- Able to work in work from home situation
About the Team
Our Transport Research team, a subsidiary of the Research and Insights team, consists of 8 researchers based in Indonesia. Although we are based in Indonesia, we are also responsible for research projects outside Indonesia. We will work together with Gojek’s researchers in Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore to handle transport research in each country. We will work alongside the Marketing and Product team, we are predominantly concerned with our customers' needs, including their perceptions on our product and what problems that they face daily that we can help. For instance, should you have a question about what we should do to help people’s mobility, we are your people! Currently, our team has been busy working on seeing deeper on future transportation needs, which will help Gojek in shaping strategy and prioritizing the next steps.
We are a tight-knit group made up of various people with different backgrounds. We like to share our passion outside of work such as cooking, sport, movies, music and games. We have 2 time slots in a week for us to share anything (can be work or passion related or whatever we want) so people can learn from one and another. Sometimes we even play games together. We work hard and play hard, and believe it or not, we actually enjoy each other’s company!
