About the role
As our Associate Product Manager, you’ll be solving customer problems and building world-class products for millions of individuals and businesses in Indonesia. You will own the research, prioritization, planning, and execution of core features of our fintech platform, and collaborate cross-functionally with diverse design, engineering, business, and operations stakeholders to deliver value to customers.
You’ll work closely with other product managers to learn product development best practices. You’ll be responsible for understanding the motivations and business requirements of our customers and their end-users, to ensure that our product offering exceeds their expectations, driving towards our company mission of providing financial access to all businesses in South East Asia.
What you'll be doing
- Work with the Product Team to determine the roadmap for key areas of the FazzCapital - Microlending product to achieve our vision and business strategy
- Understand user needs and gather requirements to solve customers’ pain points
- Build alignment across product teams and cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, etc.) to launch products to customers
- Define and analyze data to come up with business and product insights
- Write product specifications and drive product development with a world-class team of engineers and designers
What we're looking for
- Min. 3 years of experience in Product Management related roles
- You have the ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
- You have strong problem-solving skills and the willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
- You are just as comfortable whiteboarding a completely new experience on a blank canvas as you are optimizing an existing flow
- You have a strong user sense, you can put yourself in the customer’s shoes and understand what a good user experience is
- You care deeply about getting the details right in order to ship a best-in-class product
- You are outspoken and have the ability to communicate/escalate concerns and facilitate the right stakeholders in a discussion before they become issues
- You are comfortable working in a tech environment with the ability to coordinate across several functions (Product, Engineering, Business Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Design, Business Development)
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are data-driven and have strong analytical skills
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the fintech industry is a plus.
- Knowledge about SQL is preferable
