About the Role

In the GoPay ecosystem we deal with 3 primary stakeholders, Customers, Merchants and Payment Providers. In this role you will be working on the internal tooling aspect for Merchants. Which will be working closely with the Ops, Product and Technology teams as well as other stakeholders.

We are looking for a quick-learning, self-driven, and motivated Product Manager who obsesses over merchant problems to define the product vision and build products to scale. You look at every problem with the user’s lens and come up with the most effective and elegant solutions. Working alongside other Product Managers, BI Analysts and Product Engineers we are focused on building newer product flows to help provide the smoothest experience to our Merchants and our internal teams.

As an incumbent of the role, you would be responsible for automating SOPs for critical use cases such as onboarding, dispute management/refunds, settlements and merchant communications.

What You Will Do

  • Create, own, prioritize and execute a product roadmap aligned with the long term product strategy
  • Influence peers, stakeholders, and key executives through the use of data, logic, and user empathy
  • Own key results for your problem area, customer satisfaction, usability, on-time releases, and other critical metrics
  • Develop trusted relationships with engineering leaders, business leaders, and stakeholders to drive optimized product delivery
  • Convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage prioritization, product definition, execution, roll-out and impact analysis for each of the initiatives that are owned by your problem area

What You Will Need

  • At least 4 years of product or product-adjacent experience in delivering highly successful and innovative merchant/internal team-facing products with stellar logic and clear understanding of the underlying processes/systems
  • Nuanced understanding of data, design, research, software engineering, business processes, and partner effectively with those teams 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements and features
  • Strong communication skills to weave strategy, insights, priorities and plans forward into a structured and organized storyline at all levels of management
  • Sharp attention to detail, with the ability to insist on high standards and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision

As Nasi Goreng is to the people of Indonesia, Payments is to a wide variety of Merchants in the South East Asian landscape: providing the nourishment to sustain businesses from the inside out. We run and oversee one of Southeast Asia's largest merchant platforms (under Midtrans and Spots), e-money wallet platforms and Indonesia's leading digital payments provider. We empower many large businesses that include Google, Disney+, McDonald’s, Tokopedia, Blibli, Jd.id, and Kitabisa.
