About the Team

You will be primarily working on Fazz Agen, a product supported by a team of 15-20 mobile engineers with a Flutter codebase.

You will also be supporting and working with mobile apps for other products at Fazz, including but not limited to:

- POST

- Cashfazz

- Modal Rakyat

About the Role

This role is also called Staff Software Engineer in some other companies
Work across the company, making strategic decisions for the state of mobile development across the multiple different product teams
Architect, develop and maintain mobile applications across the company. Includes Flutter, native iOS / Android, and React Native applications
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

What you'll do

Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to identify and solve complex problems across multiple products
Enabling mobile engineers with a better developer experience, therefore increased velocity, satisfaction, and quality of work
Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards

What we're looking for

Experience in working with large code bases and effectively driving large projects
Experience leading and working with multiple teams of mobile engineers
Experience building out CI/CD for organizations supporting multiple mobile applications
Experience in internationalization and localization
Experience in building and integrating scalable applications with backend systems
Experience in growing engineers to the senior level via coaching and mentoring

Nice to haves (Optional)

Experience in the fintech industry
Experience in app profiling (rendering performance, battery issues, thread count and memory dumps)
Experience and contributions in open-source projects or engaging in the wider mobile engineering community
