We are currently looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Plant Room & Kitchen Technician to join our team. They will perform all repairs and installations of Plant Room and Kitchen appliances. A Plant Room & Kitchen Technician鈥檚 responsibilities include maintaining, diagnosing, testing and repairing mechanical equipment and its associated electrical equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely, knowledgeable and quality repairs of mechanical equipment and kitchen appliances
- Attends to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment including heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, refrigeration, laundry and kitchen equipment
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of cool rooms including compressors, dryers, evaporators, condensers and associated equipment
- Responsible for operation, repairs and maintenance of all fridge units, ice machines, air dryers, refrigerated air conditioning and the refrigerated system of the dry cleaning machine
- Perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment based on skill and experience level.
- Carry out regular inspections of plant and equipment as per the daily checklist and ensure that inspections required are conducted and documented
- Minimum of 2 years working experiences
- Proven work experience as a Plant Room & Kitchen technician or similar role
- Sound understanding of preventative maintenance.
- Legislation knowledge (building codes, fire safety and refrigeration gas safety standards)
- Attention to detail and quality
