About the Role
Roll up your sleeves and climb on board if you’re ready to be part of the Payments Strategy and Planning team in GoTo. This role will be based in Indonesia. Focusing heavily on problem solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis to be able to process and translate complex business vision and/or numerical data into actionable strategies for the different stakeholders. You will need to be well-versed in creating reports and presentations using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite tools. In our humble opinion, the coolest part is your ability to directly influence the strategic decision both for internal and external stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Build annual budget projections and any quarterly budget rebases
- Provide analytical and strategic support for the company's current & new product offerings, budgeting, business & operational improvement, etc
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to gather and analyze data
- Support and guide senior executive decision-making processes
- Monitor business performances
What You Will Need
- Degree in business, engineering or related field. MBA preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in Consulting, or working in a strategy, finance, or business development role within a tech/financial services company
- An entrepreneurial mentality with a can-do attitude in order to build this business vertical from the ground up combined with ability to work effectively within an ambiguous environment
- Strong leadership and critical thinking capabilities to lead the team through holistic problem-solving sessions and able to foster collaboration with cross functional teams within GoTo group
- Ability to work confidently and comfortable with multiple internal and external stakeholders, gaining their buy-in and ensuring everyone’s on the same page
- A data-driven work ethic in order to generate actionable insights from data and numbers combined with on-the-ground research
- Well-versed with negotiation strategies in order to create win-win situations
- Bonus Point if have familiarity in SQL or other querying language and also financial modeling
About the Team
Our Payments Strategy and Planning team currently consists of 5 people based in Indonesia. We partner with product and/or function groups to serve greater alignment to Group’s aspirations. It’s our focus to provide value-add and accessibility to company-wide financial and operational data and facilitate strategic decisions.
Moreover, we care about our members. We are a tight-knit group made up of Foodies and Casual Gamers. We work hard and play hard, and believe it or not, we actually enjoy each other’s company!
