About the Role

This role is focused on designing and executing a varied and exciting portfolio of activities in the HR systems space to really drive employee experience and improve our internal processes through automation and digitization. The role will work across HR, IT, and the business.

What You Will Do

  • Hold the end-to-end management of HR Information System and related HR systems teams for HR, including the roll-out of system projects and enhancements, systems operations as well as partnering with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve efficient operations and optimal end-user experience
  • Subject matter expert for HR systems (Workday) and business process, acting as the key intermediary between HR users and IT for all HR systems
  • Able to translate business needs into activity. Project management and facilitation include but are not limited to collating and analyzing business requirements, providing recommendations with due consideration for the impact on related systems, process and integrations, systems prototype, data migration, testing, training, change management, go-live, and post-production support
  • Plan, direct and coordinate all HR systems activities, including prioritization of change requests and enhancements, that are in alignment with HR processes, and across the employee life cycle
  • Provide support to HR systems, which include troubleshooting, re-configuration and adjustments, systems access control and authorization, and systems audits
  • Drive the usage of dashboards by HR users for data-driven decision making and analytics
  • Play a key role in the planning and implementation of the new HRIS, including the establishing and executing of the project management plan from tender, approval, implementation to post go-live

What You Will Need

  • Degree in any discipline
  • At least 5 or more years of experience in HCM and HR Prior experience in HRIS implementation (WorkDay) is required
  • Prior experience in project management and leadership including business analysis, design, development, and/or support is preferred
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of key HR processes
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and an ability to effectively communicate, present and discuss analysis to effectively drive fact-based decision making across all levels of the organization
  • Stakeholder & vendor management experience
