Operational Risk Lead

About the role

As our Ops Risk Lead, you will lead team of QA Ops Risk team all around Indonesia. Your team will be responsible to make sure all the business process done accordingly to the SOP. You will also responsible to identify any risky activities and/or fraudulent activities on company daily operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead & oversee the Operational Risk Management team
• Oversee the operational risk framework by implementing and reviewing control self assessments, and risk indicators to ensure the institution is within control standards
• Continuous drive to improve and strengthen the organisation's operational risk management framework
• Spearhead the operational risk culture within the organisation
• Review operational risk incidents and complaints and work with internal stakeholders for remediation and risk mitigation
• Conduct training on operational risk or compliance related topics
• Preparation of monthly operational risk and compliance reports
• Project owner for operational risk system development

• Should have at least a Bachelor Degree
• Should have at least 5 years experience in Operational Risk or Internal Audit, preferable from micro-finance or retail banking background
• Strong in details, agile, and highly adaptive
• Having strong leadership to lead big team (around 20 team members)

About the team

Risk Management Department is responsible for every aspect of Risk Management in Amartha. There are 5 units in Risk Management team ; Credit Risk, Ops Risk, Enterprise Risk, IT Risk, and Underwriting. Ops Risk unit is the biggest team with total of 26 team members, include the QA Officer regional team. You will get the opportunity to see many interesting places all around Indonesia during your branch visit tasks in Ops Risk, because some of our ~500 branches located in “exotic” areas (mountains, beaches, etc).
