About the Role

As an MIS Collection Intern, you will support the Collections team by analyzing and managing data related to collection performance. You’ll help build reports and dashboards that track key metrics such as delinquency trends, agent productivity, and recovery rates, providing insights that help the team improve collection strategies and portfolio performance.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Collections, Credit Risk, and Data teams to ensure accurate and timely data flow. You’ll also assist in automating and optimizing reporting processes using tools like SQL, Excel, and Business Intelligence platforms, enabling more efficient monitoring of key performance indicators across portfolios.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building reports, and turning numbers into actionable insights to support better operational decisions.

Job Descriptions

  • Develop and maintain MIS reports for collections performance, delinquency trends, agent productivity, and recovery rates.
  • Monitor KPIs across portfolios (e.g., early buckets, NPLs) and provide weekly/monthly dashboards to management.
  • Collaborate with collections, credit risk, and data teams to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
  • Automate and optimize reporting processes using SQL or Business Intelligence Tools  (Power BI/Tableau, Python).

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Min 1 year experience in MIS reporting, analytics, or similar roles in collections or credit risk.
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel and spreadsheet (advanced), and one or more data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Python ).
  • Knowledge of collections processes, delinquency stages, and performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
