Finance MIS Analyst/Developer for GoTo Financial services platform conduct deep analysis on loan portfolio performance, insurance retention, etc. They work with Product Managers to run A/B tests, Data Scientist to improve underwriting and collections, as well as help us build dashboards to monitor performance and track our strategic goals.

What You Will Do

Meet with stakeholders in finance & accounting, assess needs, and create reports and build dashboards that provide key business insights and performance tracking
Deep dive on financial metrics such as unit economics to understand drivers of profitability and make recommendations to improve product growth strategy and business operations
Partner with other analytics teams such as risk, growth, and data science to coordinate on key dashboards and other reports
Conduct advanced data analytics on cross-functional projects in close partnership with other analytics teams such as risk, growth, and data science such as unit economics
Drive cross-functional, special analytical projects from inception to viability on ad-hoc basis as needed; for instance
Creatively explore diverse Gojek/Gopay data to inform strategic plan, new product development or operational improvements
Partner closely with the BI Data Engineering stream to build Data Warehouses & Data Marts that provide a single source of truth for the FAT team
Keep afloat of product-level changes that may have downstream data impacts on the financial reporting work of the FAT team and work with both the product engineers and the BI Data Engineering stream to accommodate accordingly
Coordinate across functions (operations, legal, tech, etc.) to ensure that data flows are governed in a clean and compliant manner
Ensure that all business functions are aware of and aligned on data and metrics definitions

What You Will Need

Minimum bachelor’s degree/S1 from a top university
At least 2-3 years of experience in Data Analyst/Business Intelligence/ Business Analyst role
Excellent analytical skills, creative problem solving, and English communication
Have a passion towards finance data reporting and analytics
Willingness and ability to learn quickly
Skills: Data visualization (experience with Tableau, Metabase) is a plus, excellent knowledge in SQL; Python is a huge plus, proficient in Statistics, Structuring, Analysis
