Ruangguru is a tech-enabled education company that provides a one-stop learning experience for students to have better access to quality content and service. Ruangguru has allowed students to access better quality educational content in the form of learning videos, question banks, test-prep materials, and study notes. Ruangguru platform has been proven to not only help families reduce the cost for education, but also elevate student outcomes.

To help the marketing team carry out our objectives, we’re looking for an experienced strategy manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in problem-solving, stakeholder management, customer lifecycle, and data analytics.

Objectives:

  • Identify actionable insights and report them to stakeholders across the company, including senior management.
  • Track and optimize the company’s marketing OKR achievement and marketing budget.
  • Develop and implement lifecycle marketing strategies to acquire, engage, and retain customers, such as by designing and launching automated campaigns.
  • Improve customer segmentation, journey, and touchpoints to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Develop and lead the team to continuously produce insightful recommendations, solve problems, and execute effective lifecycle campaigns.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly performance reports to relevant stakeholders across the company.
  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards to monitor the performance of marketing channels and campaigns (marketing channel performance, cohort analysis, etc.).Control the marketing budget and work with associates to track daily spending from all channels (digital ads, field marketing, etc.).Proactively analyze data to answer key questions with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement to relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve user segmentation and journey by identifying key insights and implementing changes to minimize customer acquisition cost and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Drive problem-solving and experiments (A/B tests, RCT) to discover insights and recommend improvements to current marketing practices.
  • Work on ad-hoc marketing projects, such as tactical campaign tracking and analysis.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related fields.5+ years of work experience, preferably in management consulting, strategy, and data analytics.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and visual).Proficient in productivity and analytics tools (Google Workspace, Data Studio, BigQuery). Strong SQL skills is a plus.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
