About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Market Researcher to conduct consumer and business research in order to support the business team during their decision-making process regarding the marketing strategy, product/service design, pricing, and promotion. The successful market research specialist will be able to autonomously analyze qualitative and quantitative data, trends, and competition aiming at increasing our company’s competitiveness.

About the team

For this role, you’ll be working within the business team and you will report directly to the Business Design & Channel Strategy Manager. Functionally, you will also work closely with the Research Manager and Research Ops team.

As a Market Researcher you will..

  1. Collect data on consumers, competitors, and the market in general and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations
  2. Understand business objectives and design research to discover prospective customers’ preferences
  3. Compile and analyse statistical data using modern and traditional methods
  4. Collaborate with designers to design and experiment business ideas
  5. Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
  6. Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations
  7. Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation
  8. Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices
  9. Managing research vendors

What you will need...

  1. 5+ years of experience as a market researcher
  2. Proven quantitative and qualitative research skills
  3. Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (IDI, focus groups, surveys, etc.)
  4. Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
  5. Strong communication and presentation skills
  6. Good understanding of the education industry
  7. Working knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, or similar)
  8. Experience working in market research agency and corporate side
  9. Strong analytical and critical thinking
