Legal Counsel

Moladin is seeking a Legal Counsel! As a Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the management team to ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations while protecting the company's interests. You will be responsible for advising on legal issues, drafting and reviewing contracts, managing disputes and litigation, and identifying potential legal risks that may affect the company. Responsibilities

• Provide timely legal analysis, advice on business activities, representation, negotiation and documentation in a wide variety of company initiatives and other matters in accordance with the intentions of business and legal management and company policies. Share issues of common interest with the members of the Legal Department including information on developments in laws and regulations in Indonesia as well as offshore, including best practices for advising clients and organizing workflow.
• Support the Senior Counsel in the review of contracts, business proposals for consistency with laws, company policies and the terms of the proposed transactions.
• Conduct daily legal reviews of all incoming credit applications in the pipeline, conducting thorough legal reviews in accordance with relevant credit policies and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Monitor and maintain daily quotas for the number of incoming applications to be reviewed, while meeting the committed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Collaborate both independently and as a team member to achieve established objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality performance benchmarks, ensuring strict adherence to policy implementation.
• Offer recommendations for either approval or denial of credit based on the outcomes of legal analysis conducted on prospective customers.
• Propose mitigation solutions for financing customers to minimize lending risks and effectively communicate these solutions to sales, marketing, and business teams.

• Bachelor's degree in law with outstanding academic performance.
• 4 years of relevant experience in the lending business within financial institutions or private practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is a must, with a deep understanding of business processes.
• Show exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for analyzing customer data. Demonstrate a high level of responsibility, integrity, commitment, and discipline.
• Ability to evaluate and identify facts, issues and deliver appropriate recommendations to mitigate legal risk to secure the interest of the company.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality work and exceeding expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey credit recommendations supported by sound judgment.

• Fluent in English and Indonesian, both written and spoken.
