Our first brand ''Somethinc'' was founded in 2019, is currently the #1 skincare brand in e-commerce & modern trade with >1M social media followings. Our second brand Glowinc is breaking the boundaries by offering genderless products at affordable prices. Our offline/online commerce Beautyhaul is the core for carrying multiple brands that we have directly to our customers. We are incubating more and more business models in our platform and aim to be a strong regional player in the beauty, within the South Asia region.
Responsibilities:
- Legal Compliance: Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This involves monitoring changes in laws that may affect the business and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Contract Management: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, suppliers, and other parties. Legal managers ensure that contracts are fair, legally sound, and protect the company's interests.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential legal risks and providing strategies to mitigate them. This may involve analyzing contracts, business practices, and operational processes to reduce the company's exposure to legal liabilities.
- Corporate Governance: Assisting with corporate governance matters, such as board meetings, shareholder issues, and compliance with corporate formalities.
- Intellectual Property Management: Overseeing the protection of the company's intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Employment Law: Advising on labor and employment issues, including employee contracts, workplace policies, and compliance with labor laws.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from reputable university
- Min 6-7 years experience.
- Fluency in English for professional setting
- Having PERADI license is preferable
- Prior experiences in a start up or corporate law firm are preferred
