Ruangguru is a tech-enabled education company that provides a one-stop learning experience for students to have better access to quality content and service. Ruangguru has allowed students to access better quality educational content in the form of learning videos, question banks, test-prep materials, and study notes. Ruangguru platform has been proven to not only help families reduce the cost for education, but also elevate student outcomes.
Descriptions
- Work with Business, Product, and Tech team to define research directions and prioritisation based on impact to users and impact to business units
- Translating OKR and business goals into strategic project scope & research plan
- Lead a small team of researchers to plan, conduct, execute research projects
- Enhance the quality of research process and output in order to bring high impact to business
- Inform product strategy and decision with various stakeholders, using qualitative and quantitative insights
- Conducting design research projects to understand underserved needs and latent needs of users / potential users
- Lead the synthesis process using combination of different data points based on project context (qualitative, quantitative, primary, secondary)
- Facilitate Design, Product, Business, and Tech team in the process of using insights to explore concepts and help make design decisions
- Plan a variety of design workshops with the agenda of creative problem solving and promoting human-centricity
- Ensure dissemination of user insights to inform product strategy and design decisions across organisation
- Help empower junior researchers on the team to sharpen their skills and knowledge
- Promote the value of Human Centred Design and help implement its processes within Business Unit
Requirements
- Has strong understanding of Human Centred Design
- Has proven ability to plan and conduct exploratory, generative, and evaluative research
- Has minimum 3-4 years of experience in design research
- Has minimum 4-5 years of total work experience
- Has a solid design research portfolio that showcase diverse projects and approaches
- Has good systems thinking skill
- Has good communication and storytelling skill to influence high level stakeholders
- Have deep curiosity in uncovering insights from variety of people with different backgrounds and demographics.
- Experienced in managing interdisciplinary stakeholders and able to influence high level stakeholders
- Experienced in coaching junior researchers
- Candidate with experience in managerial role are preferred
- Has a degree minimum in Bachelor Degree. Design & Research related degree is preferred, but any background are welcome to apply.
