Ruangguru platform has been proven to not only help families reduce the cost for education, but also elevate student outcomes.
Job Descriptions
- As a Product Design Lead, you will set the direction, plan, orchestrate, and ensure your team's work achieves the expected product outcome.
- To ensure product/market fit, you will consistently contribute user perspective into product development strategy, and do activities to ensure alignment with user- perceived values.
- As the spokesperson of your team, you will maintain communication with colleagues from different departments, and ensure our stakeholders could make well- informed design decisions.
- You should also have advanced crafting skills and working knowledge of the design thinking process so you could help your team overcome design-related challenges.
- As this is a people manager role, you will also plan and accommodate the growth of your team as well as the competency development of your team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the design impact, outcome not just output
- Ensuring that our user experience remains delightful and industry- leading, while maintaining a cohesive modern aesthetic in all design element
- Understanding of different user segments and the priorities in using our app
- Lead, plan, and orchestrate design- related initiatives on the product streams his/her team handles
- Empower, train, and coach designers in your team
- Present, defend, and getting stakeholders’s buy- in
- Conducting regular 1 on 1 sessions with your team members
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in product design or user experience projects, with at least 2 years on Senior Design level
- Portfolio that showcases design impact towards product metrics improvement, application of Human Centered Design methodologies, and proficiency in either IXD, UID, UX Research, or other UX Design roles
- Experience in leading design projects for at least 2 of these platforms: Android, iOS, or responsive website
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and RACI matrix
- Strong creative approach with bias towards action
- Comfortable in fast- paced environment that embraces ambiguity
- Fluency in English communication (verbal and written)
