  • Adhere to all health department, sanitation and safety regulations as required the hotel.
  • Check the working condition and cleanliness of laundry and dry cleaning machinery and equipment.
  • Monitor usage of chemicals and water to maximize efficiency.
  • Sort all stained/damaged items and determine status for rewash or discard, maintain continuous inventory of discarded items.
  • Maintain accurate kilogram records of dry cleaning and laundry according to departmental procedures.
  • Report faulty equipment, damaged garments/linen, shortages, maintenance needs, safety hazards and problems to Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of supplies in accordance with department procedures.
  • Assists in the writing of additional standards, policies, and procedures for the departments.
  • Assists and completes schedule, making all necessary copies, and posting all necessary sheets or communications. Ensures that all side duties for team members are properly completed before team members are allowed to sign out or leave.
  • Prepares late/absent forms to communicate with team members.
  • Assists Laundry and Valet Attendants with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Delegates specific primary duties and side-duties to respective team members and follow up with coaching, praise, or guidance.
  • Conduct a monthly inventory and order products appropriately for the Laundry Department.
  • Constantly monitor department performance in all phases of service and job functions, ensuring that all procedures are carried out in accordance to departmental standards and rectify any deficiencies with respective personnel.
  • Handle guest complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Successfully complete the annual training/certification process for this position.
  • Ability to identify, summarize and analyze all documents and reports in laundry operational.
  • Ability to direct the performance of assigned team member and follow up with coaching and guidance praise or make corrections.
  • Ability to motivate assigned team member and maintain a cohesive team.
  • Assist the Laundry Manager with duties.
  • Prepares and leads Monthly Department Meeting and Line –Up to assist Laundry Manager. Menyiapkan dan memimpin Pertemuan Departemen Bulanan dan Line -Up untuk membantu Laundry Manager.
  • Ensure linen and laundry supplies are ordered and controlled in line with Business and Events.
  • Ensure that all uniforms are ready for special events as well as for any seasonal events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and able to carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotels management.
  • Conduct monthly cleaning supply inventory.
  • Participate and contribute to the resort sustainability program through education, interaction and suggestion.
  • Ability to ascertain team member training needs and provide such training.
  • Complete inventory of stock as assigned.
  • Work with chemical and machine repair personnel to repair machines, improve quality or standards, increase productivity or capacity of machines.
  • Ensure equipment receives periodic preventive maintenance.



  • Has experience in a Similar position at a 5 star resort
  • Has Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Has excellent leadership skills
  • Has the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Has related license, certificates and (or) diploma to support candidate's Qualification
