What you will do, but not limited to:
- Provide first-line technical support for IT-related issues
- Perform basic database queries and data extraction from PostgreSQL or MySQL to support troubleshooting, reporting, and user requests.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems for users.
- Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system accurately.
- Assist users in setting up and configuring new hardware and software.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to escalate unresolved issues.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance on IT equipment.
- Provide guidance and training to users on IT systems and applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
- Proficiency in SQL for database management and query development.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on user satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
