Responsibilities

The responsibilities of an INTERCOM (Internal Communications) team typically include:

  1. Information Dissemination: Sharing important company updates, announcements, and news with employees.E
  2. Employee Engagement: Fostering employee engagement through various communication channels and internal campaign (minimal once in a month)
  3. Policy Communication: Ensuring employees are informed about and understand company policies and procedures.
  4. Emergency Communication: Providing critical information and instructions during emergencies or crises.
  5. Feedback Collection: Supporting the gathering feedback from employees to improve communication and address concerns.
  6. Cultural and Amartha Academy Promotion: Promoting and maintaining the company's culture and values through communication.
  7. The Communicator for everyone: Ensuring that communication complies with relevant laws and regulations and informing technology tools to enhance efficiency and reach.
  8. Performance Management: Supporting the annual communication of performance expectations and feedback.
  9. Global and Multilingual Communication: Addressing language and cultural diversity in communication strategies, especially for Field Officer (F0), Expatriate, and all A-teams.
  • Completed a Bachelor's degree, The Communication Studies Student with a focus on strategic communication and public relations is point plus
  • Have experience in Authored and edited engaging internal content from newsletters, memos, and announcements, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging.
  • Collaborated with various departments to gather information and ensure accurate and timely communication to employees.
  • Developed an annual internal communication plan that contributed to an increase in employee engagement over the year.
  • Designed and executed a creative social media campaign to promote a new company initiative, resulting in increase in participation.
  • Managed the company's intercom platform, regularly updating content and ensuring a user-friendly experience.
  • Played a key role in communicating a major restructuring to employees, addressing concerns and facilitating a smooth transition.
  • Led cross-functional teams to implement communication projects on time and within budget.
  • Conducted employee surveys and used data analysis to identify areas for communication improvement.
  • Managed communication during a company-wide security breach, ensuring employees were informed and reassured throughout the incident.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages to support a diverse workforce, promoting inclusivity and understanding.
  • Successfully adjusted communication strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic to address remote work and safety protocols.
