- Primarily responsible for managing transactions, settlements, and reconciliations among different insurance providers in accordance with established procedures.
- Expand new insurance partnerships or work on process improvements with the business/product team, ensuring readiness of the processes.
- Process insurance applications, renewals, cancellations, and payments, as well as follow up on policy documents (both physical and digital) and their schedules.
- Coordinate communication with various insurance providers, monitor their service level agreements (SLAs), and act as the point of contact for troubleshooting.
- Ensure all documentation, approvals, and necessary data are accurately filled out in the system prior to conducting any insurance transactions/settlements.
- Handle customers' inquiries and feedback related to insurance, conduct fact-finding to create and follow up on insurance quotes and endorsements.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports, including reports on inbound and outbound commissions.
- Assist in maintaining an updated central documentation repository for all settlement and reconciliation processes, internal procedures, and the financial risk register.
- At least a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university with an excellent GPA, preferably in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the lending business of a financial institution, specifically in lending operations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and MS Office are a must, including proficiency in collaborative functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen interest in reviewing data. Must possess high levels of responsibility, integrity, commitment, and discipline.
- Strong dedication to delivering excellent work and exceeding expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate process recommendations within the operational area.
