We are looking for a passionate, high-performing Operation Coordinator to join a collaborative program team of Delterra.org colleagues, external staff, and local partners in Indonesia.

Responsibilities may include:

1. Analysis and Problem Solving For On Site Level​

  • Aggregate and ensure accuracy of data from field findings and data gathering activities​
  • Define on-site solution based on collected data
  • Gather feedbacks from Desa service-level workers on our delivered items​
  • Express idea for improvement or propose solution for service level issues to ops manager and internal ops team​

2. Implementation​

  1. Build and maintain respectful relationship with ops managers/coordinators in each Desa​
  2. Provide relevant training for TPS3R operational teams in each Desa​
  3. Facilitate/moderate meetings on implementing operational subjects ​
  4. Coordinate PPE, small items, and OPEX procurement in TPS3R​
  5. Ensure validity of data input for diversion tracking in Ops platform and analyse data together regularly with Ops Manager​

3. Coordination of site contractor/agent

  • Coordination of contractor activities under the Associate and Operational Lead’s direction
  • Arrange implementation contractors' schedule and service level timeline​
  • Equip contractors' with relevant knowledge prior to tasks execution​
  • Improve implementation team ways of working in achieving targets​
  • Giving feedback to contractor based on their performance, and deliver contractor’s feedback to the team

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in public sector/ private sectors, preferably with experience in sustainability-related issues at municipality and provincial levels
  • Minimum a Bachelor Education in Environmental, and/or related fields
  • Indonesian, with fluency in English (Balinese/ Javanese  is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge on waste management system at various levels
  • Solutions-oriented with strong ownership mindset, able to navigate uncertainties to deliver impact
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility with a range of different stakeholders, from front-line workers and community members to executives
  • Track record of managing and delivering work independently, while engaging managers/leaders at appropriate times
  • Demonstrated aptitude in conceptual and analytical problem solving.

This position is a fixed term contract based in Denpasar, Bali.
