About the Role
Making our products and platforms resilient and safe by incorporating the risk considerations is an important goal for both Risk and Product functions. You will work on ensuring seamless communication, smooth decision making, and coordinated effort between Product & Risk functions to deploy the necessary resources behind prioritized projects. At the same time, we need to optimize the Risk strategies and processes to provide a good user experience. You will champion the user experience within the Risk function and help the Risk teams imbibe that as an integral part of our strategies and actions.
What You Will Do
- Build relationships with other Product and Platform leaders and champion the Risk function and risk-related requirements within the Product organization
- Secure the resource commitments from other teams where needed, track the progress of key initiatives and keep all stakeholders informed, flagging issues proactively and keeping all parties accountable for their portions
- Champion user experience within the Risk organization and optimize current processes, practices and strategies from user experience perspective
- Build out BPI (Business Process Improvement) capabilities within the team
- Champion and help develop a culture of user experience within the Risk function and develop frameworks and guidelines for other teams to follow
- Lead Risk’s collaboration with other teams such as design and customer care to help develop the appropriate messaging, treatment and resolution of Risk actions
What You Will Need
- 10+ years of experience in strategy consulting, product management or similar roles involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration, preferably in technology or e-commerce industry
- Experience in business process improvement or operations excellence
- Experience leading teams
- Proven ability to build senior level relationships and influence decision making
- Understanding of industry trends and best practices in enhancing account and user safety
- Experience with risk management preferred but not essential
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Organized, methodical and analytical

Our team consists of multinational and multi-background individuals, working together to anticipate and predict potential threats to our platform, design and build tools to fight against and mitigate these threats, and implement and enforce these systems at scale. We partner closely with several cross-functional teams to ensure safe and secure transactions for our users, our Gojek businesses, and our extended ecosystem.
