About the Role
If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, data-driven team and an opportunity to hone your business intelligence and data visualization, and storytelling skills, look no further. As Tokopedia Risk Analytics Manager you will be working with a team of risk professionals to define, measure, quantify and track risks in the Tokopedia ecosystem. Working closely with Risk teams in GoTo Group, you will help to identify and categorize risk types, define metrics to measure and create visualization and dashboards to monitor them. The cherry on top: you’ll get to be a part of a team that works to make Trust and Safety a top priority at Tokopedia.
What You Will Do
- Develop a clear understanding of the relevant risk metrics & risk leakage and savings attributable to risk controls to establish a risk performance baseline that will drive risk objectives and key results and enable meaningful discussions among senior Risk leaders at Tokopedia and stakeholders at GoTo Group
- Work closely with Data Science, Data Engineering, Finance & Planning to define risk metrics and data pipelines, automation, visualization, and dashboards to present a holistic view of risk at Tokopedia
- Update risk trends and findings in a clear and concise manner and present to Tokopedia Risk leadership and committees on the status of key risks and follow-up on ad-hoc inquiries with data-driven analysis
- Review critical reports that are submitted to regulators and senior management for risk decisions and prepare presentations and papers
- Act as PIC of Tokopedia Risk Analytics and collaborate with GoTo Risk teams to share best practices by leveraging technologies, tools, and common synergies between teams
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, leverage cross-functional synergies, and initiate and drive change within and beyond the team where necessary
What You Will Need
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantitative disciplines or Computer Science
- At least 8 years work experience in risk, analytics and data science roles within a fast-paced environment (prior experience in eCommerce platform is preferred)
- Adept at managing both structured & unstructured data and using business intelligence tools such as SQL, Python, Google Data Studio
- Experience in building and optimizing big data pipelines including developing and deploying measurements and attribution solutions in real-time and Clockwork data schedulers in Google Cloud SQL environment
- Knowledge of common risk types and performance metrics for an eCommerce platform
- Strong stakeholder engagement, a clear communicator and is able to manage multiple priorities at any one point in time
- Initiated and a self-starter, willing to work under tight timelines when necessary and willing to take on new challenges
- A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate and exchange information across stakeholders of various backgrounds and levels

Our objective as Tokopedia Risk Team is to ensure a safe and trusted ecosystem that our users can trust, rely on, and love to come back to. To manifest that objective, we oversee risk strategies and practices of all Tokopedia customer journeys to improve Trust and Safety for all Tokopedia users. We work with risk teams in GoTo Group to ensure best risk practices are shared and our users have consistent treatment in the GoTo ecosystem.
Our Risk Analytics team currently consists of members based in Indonesia and Singapore and we’re a tight-knit group who are bonded by two things: Trust and Safety and personal growth and well-being 🙌. We work hard and play hard, and support each other. What drives us is our shared sense of Trust and Safety. When we aren’t busy fighting risks, we enjoy bonding over our shared love of good food, playing bridge or poker, finding the best running track in our cities, and shopping.
