We are looking for an experienced Operations leader to join our team. You will be responsible for managing operations for payments and lending business, alongside company-wide reconciliation, compliance and reporting, merchant success and risk. We are in the process of consolidating multiple support teams under one Operations umbrella - the ideal candidate would have customer empathy and outstanding people skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage product operations for cash loans, BNPL, digital payments; focusing on non-automated processes
- Oversee company-wide reconciliation of BukuWarung data with that of our partners (PG, banks, PPOB providers etc.)
- Support compliance function with reporting needs of financial institutions such as OJK and BI
- Build, maintain and optimize internal processes to support fast and accurate customer ticket resolution
- Support risk function to identify and solve issues like chargeback and handling on demand fraud & abuse issues
- Develop coherence of operational capabilities across all products to offer all merchants a standardized service
- Oversee a team of ~40 with ~3 direct reportees
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience as Head of Operations, Operations Director or similar leadership role
- Proven track record of managing operations for an operations-heavy business such as digital payments, e-commerce, logistics etc.
- Familiarity with digital payments infrastructure in Indonesia and needs of small and micro-businesses in Indonesia
- Outstanding management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing multiple teams and report into multiple leaders
- Problem-solving aptitude alongside customer empathy
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English languages
