Who are we?
Amar Bank is one of the most technologically advanced digital banks in Indonesia. Our leading
digital lending product, Tunaiku has the distinction of being the first FinTech product in
Indonesia. We are also the first digital bank on the cloud. As the first profitable digital bank, we
managed to get listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.

How did it all start?
Founded on March 15, 1991, in Surabaya as PT Anglomas International Bank (Amin Bank), the
bank was acquired by Tolaram Group and transformed to PT Bank Amar Indonesia (Amar Bank)
in 2014. It has then undergone a significant digital transformation to become one of the
country's forerunning fintech institutions through its award-winning digital lending platform,
Tunaiku.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee development teams (Front End, Back End, Mobile, QA) and their projects
- Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems for improvements
- Ensure compliance with security regulations
- Prepare and manage the engineering department’s budget
- Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources
- Hire engineers and manage their growth
- Implement innovative technologies
- Coordinate with other divisions (product, business, and platform) to achieve company’s target and roadmap
Requirements:
- Work experience as a head of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department
- Have experience in working with enterprise software such as Core Banking, Payment, ERP, CRM, POS, Financial Ledger, etc.
- Extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces
- Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development
- Good understanding of agile methodologies
- Leadership abilities with a strategic mind
- Excellent project management skills

- Successfully established microservices architecture with high availability and reliability
