About the Role

To become a source of competitive advantage in creating a sustainable, strong, and long-term alliance with partners across Indonesia financial institutions. This role reports to the Head of Bank Partnership with one senior Partnership Lead working closely with him/her to support and deepen the Himbara partnership.

What You Will Do

  • Define and update strategy for Himbara 
  • Continue to build on the trust and goodwill the company has built with Himbara
  • Maintain relationships with Himbara and continuously seek to optimize business opportunities
  • Guide Himbara partners to achieve mutual goals and improve business engagement  
  • Monitor the overall engagement of projects; ensure competitive commercial arrangement, oversee the progress and manage the timeline 
  • Responsible for administrative duties such as drafting and finalizing legal engagement with partners and liaising with partners to settle commercial deal, based on guidelines from related business pod
  • Be accountable to handle issues related to the Himbara partnership and escalate the issues to the right parties (internal and external) to be solved in a timeline manner

What You Will Need

  • Fundamental Skills: Has reasonable understanding of banking and finance, and/or payment, and/or fintech 
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Draws sound conclusions based upon a mixture of analysis and experience. Able to identify breakthrough solutions during tough negotiations or large-scale implementations with strategic partners
  • Communications Skill: Promotes an environment of open communication. Convinces and engages others by using compelling arguments. Able to rigorously manage a portfolio of projects with strategic partners, unblock issues & risks and manage expectations to ensure they are completed within target timelines and stakeholder expectations
  • Negotiation Skill: A fair, unbiased mediator and uses diplomacy and tact to diffuse tense situations comfortably
  • Resiliency: Demonstrates resilience & composure, even in difficult or adverse circumstances. Makes and carries through unpopular or difficult decisions that are in the best interest of the team and/or Gopay. Is able to resist the pressure to make quick decisions where due consideration is required
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to develop strong, long lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Experienced in engaging and managing C-Suites. Persuades and influences effectively by building support for ideas and initiatives through the effective presentation of facts and evidence. Identifies and anticipates the needs of partners and stakeholders to gain their commitment. Owns the end-to-end relationship with equivalent team and functional leads both internally and externally
  • Leadership: Drives teamwork to encourage cooperation and bring together complementary skills/expertise. Facilitates the discussion and resolution of conflicts or disagreement. Promotes a culture of learning and development, with a focus on continuous improvement

As Nasi Goreng is to the people of Indonesia, we are to Gojek: providing the nourishment to sustain our business from the inside out.
