AYANA Hospitality is looking for a dynamic and friendly Mandarin Guest Relation Officer for our AYANA Komodo resort. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our Mandarin-speaking guests receive exceptional service and support throughout their stay. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive, and dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Welcome Mandarin-speaking guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in process
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and feedback in Mandarin to ensure understanding and satisfaction
- Provide information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions in Mandarin
- Coordinate with other departments to accommodate guest needs and preferences
- Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions and preferences for future visits
- Assist in promoting hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experiences
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service within the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
