AYANA Hospitality is looking for a dynamic and friendly Mandarin Guest Relation Officer for our AYANA Komodo resort. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our Mandarin-speaking guests receive exceptional service and support throughout their stay. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive, and dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome Mandarin-speaking guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in process
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and feedback in Mandarin to ensure understanding and satisfaction
  • Provide information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions in Mandarin
  • Coordinate with other departments to accommodate guest needs and preferences
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Maintain detailed records of guest interactions and preferences for future visits
  • Assist in promoting hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experiences
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Previous experience in guest relations or customer service within the hospitality industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
