Work within the marketing department of an established global brand on creating visuals that enhance brand engagement and outreach.
Our growing international marketing team needs a new graphic designer! Join our young and dynamic team of professionals and become an ambassador of our brand style within the company! With offices across the globe, a wide variety of events attended and services supplied to international clients, maintaining consistency with all the output can be tricky - yet vital. Working within the core brand values and defined styles, this role requires someone with an eye for detail to ensure that all resources produced, print or digital, reflect the established Youwe brand.
You are an integral part of the marketing team, making sure all communications and assets are on brand! Occasionally you will contribute to internal communications and sales material. You will join the regular stand-up meetings of the team and discuss the priorities. Together, we will work on the best experience for our customers, prospects, partners and employees and make sure Youwe is the brand recognized at first glance!
On a day-to-day basis, the role requires work across different software, mainly InDesign, Photoshop Canva, Powerpoint and Figma.
You will work closely with the marketing department and your main contact will be the Marketing Delivery Manager, who will help plan and prioritize your week. Good communication with the DM is vital to ensure that all expectations are managed.
The main focus of the work is creating digital assets for use on social media and presentations delivered by the team at large events. To ensure brand consistency we work with templates based on the core Brand Guidelines. There will be opportunities to create new graphics and icons as required. Flexibility to use Figma, Canva and PowerPoint for this is required.
On occasion, you will be requested to create large-scale documents, such as books, brochures and pre-sale documents. You will mostly be working within InDesign using predefined templates with styling to amend existing designs. A knowledge of InDesign to adapt templates as needed is required. For large events merchandise is often required, this is an opportunity for your creative side to kick in with incorporating the brand guidelines to create eye-catching graphics for use on clothing/bags and other merchandise.
Maintaining consistency and sticking within the core brand values, whilst creating engaging and eye-catching assets, is key to being successful at this role, as well as the ability to gather requirements from the marketing team and interpret what is needed visually.
